Palak Paneer
Palak Paneer is likely the most popular paneer dish from North India. Learn to  make delicious palak paneer recipe at home with step by step photos. 




Ingredients:-
Palak/spinach leaves - 500 gms 
Paneer - 250 grams cubed
Tomato-1 large chopped finely
Ginger Paste - 1 tblspn
Green Chilli - 3 finely chopped
Shahi Jeera / Black Jeera -1 tblspn
Turmeric- ½ tsp
Coriander powder-1/2 tsp
Amchur powder- ½ tsp
Salt to taste
Red chili as per your requirement – green chili already use. 


To make palak puree:-









Take Palak, Remove leaves from stem and wash them very well, and boil with 1 cup of water in a sauce pan for 5-7 min . Let it cool then blend the same and  make  a fine/smooth  paste.



Method:-

  • Take a large pan while cooking palak so it can splatter,  Heat oil in a kadhai/pan , add cumin seeds and let them crackle.
  • Add Chopped Ginger and cook for 2 min and  fry till golden, it will take 5-6 min, green chili and Saute for 2 min.
  • Now Add tomato and cook till oil separates, this will take 5-7 min
  • Add Red chili and Turmeric Powder, Amchur powder and cook for 1 min.
  • Add Palak puree and mix well and cook for 5-8 min  (.(Do not cover the pan,if you cover you won’t get the rich green colour)
  • Now add Salt, add water if required,
  • Now finally add the Paneer cubes and simmer the gravy for 8-10 min.
  • Take it out in a serving bowl and garnish with fresh cream if your desired. 
  • Serve hot with rotis or steamed rice.
Step by Step :-
Heat oil in pan 
Add Cumin seeds 
Add Ginger  

Add Tomato
Add Palak puree and cook for 5-7 min . don't cover the pan. 
Add Paneer Cubes 
now ready to be served

Serve Hot
