Green Chili Lemon Ginger Pickle

Green Chili lemon/Ginger Pickle recipe is very easy to prepare at home and it’s very tasty. It can serve with any Indian food like dal-rice, veg-pulao, stuff parantha, plain paratha or even with roti sabzi. It is oil free pickle. Variety of pickle are also available in market but made by using lots of preservatives and synthetic colour to increase its shelf life, which are not good for our health. Some pickles are seasoning pickles, but green chili, lemon and ginger can be available throughout the year so you can make this green chili lemon/ginger pickle any time at home, and its preparation time is very less. Oil conscious people also take this. It works as a remedy, Lemon is a good source of vitamin C, improves your skin quality and help in weight loss, Ginger may reduce muscle pain and soreness and lower cholesterol levels. Ginger can treat many forms of Nausea. Also you know the benefits of green chili. Green chili has zero calorie, it prevents against cancer and balance blood sugar levels. 


Ingredients
100 gm of green chili (hari mirch)
4 Lemons
1-2 piece ginger (Adrak)
Salt to taste

Method:-
  • Wash, wipe the Green chilies properly using dry kitchen cloth and then slit them through the center.
  • Take a spoonful of Salt and add in all green chilies and set them aside.
  • Now add salt in lemon and ginger and mix them well.
  • Now mix all three items and mix well
  • Put the mixture in a clean and dry glass container. Add some lemon juice and shake it well.
  • And Keep the container in direct sun light for two to three days and shake it four to five times a day.
  • After 2-3 days we will get our green chili lemon ginger pickle ready. Store it for 10-15 days and enjoy it with your every meal. 

Step by Step
Take Green chili, lemon and ginger


cut into small pieces. 


Cut into lengthwise piece 


Slit from the centre 


Fill with salt 


Also add salt to lemon and ginger


Mix all three ingredient and store in the airtight container. After 1 day you will enjoy the pickle



Notes
Always keep in mind while purchasing green chilies, it should be green long, thick and medium or less hot.
